SCOTT landscape design worked in partnership with David Ryan landscape Architect to prepare a sensory garden design for the existing park in Templemore, Co. Tipperary. The design was part funded by North Tipperary LEADER Partnership. The site of the old swimming pool (which was built in 1935 and seized use in 1980s) was deemed as an ideal location for the proposed sensory garden. A new garden space has a fantastic opportunity to encourage art performances, temporary market spaces and gather people and in addition has the potential to rejuvenate the park and subsequently the town. Since 2011, no further progress has been made yet on our proposals.
